Mourning CloakJust about anyone with an interest in butterflies can contribute to the Michigan Butterfly Network’s (MiBN’s) monitoring activities. In fact, Community Scientists are integral to learning about and studying butterflies across the state of Michigan. KNC staff will host a virtual butterfly monitoring training on Saturday, May 22, 11am-1pm. This free program is open to past and new participants from throughout the state of Michigan. Donations are optional, and support MiBN’s annual operating costs. We appreciate your consideration of a tax-deductible gift now more than ever. With optimism, a potential field day is being planned for June 5 at 1:30pm, pending favorable COVID-19 circumstances.
