Explore the scary topic that is endangered species this Halloween weekend. Did you know that the native to Michigan Mitchell’s Satyr Butterfly (MSB) is endangered due to human development and in need of some major support? KNC is one of the only places in the world working to save this threatened butterfly. Learn about MSBs and what KNC is doing to support these amazing creatures with Conservation Educator Kyra Blum.

Cancellation Policy
Weather-related cancellations: Programs will be canceled if the temperature or wind chill goes below 10 degrees and it is dry, or if the temperature is below freezing and it is raining or icy. Please check KNC's website or social media for cancellations prior to coming if the weather is inclement. You will also receive an email if the program is cancelled. Cancellations due to weather will be refunded. For cancellation prior to the event's registration deadline, a $5 processing fee per registrant will be retained by the Kalamazoo Nature Center. Between registration deadline and the day of program, a 25% processing fee per registrant, with a minimum of $5, will be retained by KNC. No refunds the day of event or after.
